Sirius couldn’t believe in what was happening. James had died; Peter had made him be accused by murdering the Muggles. All that things that they made together was forgotten, and now gave place to hate and angst. Peter was in his black list.
No regret.
I’m talking all about how to give
They don’t act with much honesty
But you point the way to the truth when you say
“All you need is love”
James, who kept them all together, was dead for 12 years. Now, with a way of escaping from Azkaban, Sirius would take revenge. Peter would pay for all the things he’d done.
Sirius knew that James would keep Peter away from him, away from bad things. But dead people can’t act; Sirius would put Peter in Azkaban.
Living with good and bad
I always looked up to you
Now we’re left cold and sad
By someone, the devil’s best friend
Someone who offended all
Peter would keep a great distance from Harry, in what depended on Sirius. Serving the Dark Lord was something unthinkable, for someone who befriended James Potter.
We’re living in a bad dream
They’ve forgotten all about mankind
And you were the one they backed up to the wall

You were the one who imagined it all

So many years had passed and Sirius was now finally free… Free to help his godson, take his place as Harry’s guardian. As he would’ve done 12 years if it weren’t Peter…

No more suffering for Harry. Sirius knew, somehow, that Harry was suffering in the Dursley’s hands. They’d been cruel to Lily; they would do the same to Harry. Everyone could see.
Deep in the darkest night
I send out a prayer to you
Now in the world of light
Where the spirit free of lies
And all else that we despised
Sirius gathered strength to help Harry, no matter what. He would only rest if Harry had a place to stay comfortably and happy. Until there, no rest, no fun, no nothing.

Sirius remembered all the times he passed with his friends. That gave him an extra strength to fight against the unfairness committed against him and Harry, James’s son.
